Electricity procurement for properties

Procure electricity.
Keep your portfolio in view.

NeoBid supports owners, asset managers, property managers and users with electricity tenders. We prepare Supply points and consumption data, compare offers with you and align procurement with your properties.

01 / ELECTRICITY PROCUREMENT

Which electricity demand
are we tendering?

Annual volume alone does not fully describe your demand. To obtain suitable offers, we consider where and when electricity is needed and what changes during the supply period.

Map supply points

Communal electricity, technical systems and leased areas may have different contracting parties. We clarify which supply points are within scope and who may make decisions about them.

Load profiles classify

A Load profile describes the consumption pattern over time. Available metering data shows, for example, base load and consumption peaks. If no measured load curves are available, we clarify the available data basis with you.

Plan for changes

Heat pumps, charging points, cooling and new uses can change electricity demand. Planned measures and expected self-supply from photovoltaics therefore belong in volume planning.

02 / ELECTRICITY PROCUREMENT

These documents
make getting started easier.

You do not need all the data for the first conversation. Together, we identify what needs to be added for the specific tender.

Portfolio and supply points

An overview of the property, supply address and contracting party, together with – where available – Market location ID and meter assignment. This allows invoices and consumption data to be assigned to the correct supply points.

Bills and contracts

Annual electricity bills and the latest available bills for each supply point, contract terms and notice periods, together with known portfolio additions and removals.

Consumption and planned changes

Annual consumption and available load profiles, supplemented by planned changes of use, new equipment or on-site generation. Where necessary, we agree data access with the supplier or property managers .

03 / COMPARE OFFERS

More than a price per kilowatt-hour.

Offers become comparable when supply periods, volumes, electricity quality and price coverage are aligned. We evaluate them together with you in the NeoBid Energy Platform. You choose the supplier.

Price coverage

Which components are included in the offer and which are charged separately? Alongside procurement and sales, network charges, metering, taxes, duties and levies may affect the bill.

Commitments and volumes

Which components and period does the price commitment cover? How does the offer handle over- or under-consumption and volume tolerances, new supply points and withdrawn properties? The specific contractual terms are decisive.

Implementation and service

Do supply start dates, billing, contacts and data provision suit your organisation? We include these requirements in our joint assessment of offers.

04 / GREEN ELECTRICITY AND SELF-SUPPLY

Define electricity quality precisely.

Which origin, evidence and additional impact matter to you? These requirements belong in the tender.

Document origin

Guarantees of origin document the renewable origin of the electricity volume allocated on a balancing basis. On their own, they do not demonstrate additional expansion of renewable facilities. Further quality requirements should be expressly agreed.

PPA assess

A long-term power purchase agreement can be one component. Generation profile, consumption, term and how residual volumes are treated must fit together. A PPA does not replace this review.

Plan residual electricity

On-site photovoltaics change electricity purchases from the grid. What matters is when generation and consumption coincide. The remaining demand and its fluctuations need to be included in procurement.

Good to know.

When should we prepare the electricity tender?

Start with the contract end date and notice period. Appropriate lead time depends on factors including data availability, portfolio and procurement model. Preparing documents early expands your options; there is no universally best day to buy.

Can several properties be tendered together?

Yes, provided responsibilities and authorisations are clear. Whether a joint tender or separate lots make sense depends on supply points, load profiles, contract terms and offers. Aggregation alone does not guarantee a lower price.

Who pays NeoBid?

NeoBid is remunerated by the energy supplier awarded the contract. We assess offers together; the supplier decision remains yours. We agree our service scope in advance.

What happens after supplier selection?

We handle agreed tasks throughout the contract term. These may include supply point changes and support with reporting ; we agree scope, data basis and responsibilities together.

YOUR NEXT STEP

Let’s start
a conversation.

In our first meeting, we discuss your portfolio, upcoming contract deadlines and objectives. Together, we identify useful documents and next steps. You do not need a complete dataset to get started.
